Take your kitten to its kitty litter box right you take it home. Sometimes that first visit is all is needed. But until you're sure that the kitten understands, take it there after each feeding. Sometimes felines will not use a litter box if something about the particular make of litter is not to their liking. Once in a while they will enough time box if its location is not private enough. Make an effort to solve these problems if the kitten will not use the kitty litter box from the start.
If the veterinarian gives you medicine for the kitten, ensure that you or one of your parents understands how to give drugs. Ask the vet or the vet's assistant to show the proper method. Give the remedies to the kitten just as aimed by the vet. Twice per day is not good enough if the kitten is supposed to get remedies three times each day. Young kittens like to eat every few time, about four times per day. At each food, serve a saucer of fresh milk alongside a little dish of dried out cat food. For just one or two of the meals, mixture in canned food (beef or fish). In the event the kitten gets diarrhea, switch to powdered dairy. When the diarrhea continues, reduce the amount of dairy and the number of meals of which it is served.
