Although your kitten will decide for itself where it will sleep, it could enjoy a gentle, snug area you prepare for it. A fluffy, clean hand towel folded and located in a boot box that sits on its side, could make a stunning bed for your kitten. But the kitten may just decide to perch itself on a chair instead. You will have to help your kitten get accustomed to using a litter box to visit the bathroom. Getting the pet cat used to a kitty litter box is usually easy, because cats are obviously clean and like to bury their droppings. A litter box is only a shallow rectangular pot. The easiest kind to use is made of soft plastic. Into this you put kitty litter, which comes in stores. Cover the bottom of the kitty litter box with about two ins of cat litter.
Take your kitten to its kitty litter box right you take it home. Sometimes that first visit is all is necessary. But until you're sure that the kitten understands, take it there after every feeding. Sometimes cats will not use a litter box if something about this brand of litter is not to their liking. Sometimes they will avoid the package if its location is not private enough. Make an effort to solve these problems if the kitten will not use the kitty litter box right away.
