Cats actually bring a few parasites, a few fleas plus some diseases and some can turn serious but not many. If pet cats were triggering too much sickness they would not have invaded our lives as well as they may have. But you may still find people out there who do not like cats. When I first went to China about twenty years ago there have been very few pet cats coping with people and incredibly few wild cats. I was impressed because I've had cats all my entire life and I never thought people didn't like cats. But in China individuals said cats taken disease and that was it. I think that may have something regarding that cat tired you get in your eyesight. Not serious just a minor problem for a week In case you were pregnant you'd to stay away from cats. I believe they were referring to toxoplasmosis, but if you get that whenever you are a kid it should not affect your baby. In addition they said felines were dusty but I don't believe so. I think pet cats are one of the cleanest house animals you could have. I think that came from the cats eradicating the rats and mice. Because rats are incredibly dirty pets then because the felines wiped out and ate them they'll also be dirty. A grubby by connection kind of thing. Also there have been some big sewer rats working round throughout the day. Once I noticed a rat and a cat face off the other person and the kitty wasn't much bigger than the rat. These were about a ft . apart staring the other person out and the cat ran away. I'm not surprised the rat's pearly whites were bigger that the cats.
Felines and mankind have been living in harmony for quite some time but that has not always been the truth. There have been times when pet cats have been almost wiped out in the name of God. And what occurred the Black Fatality reigned supreme for considerably longer than it will. So we will get back to the beginnings of recorded history to the time of the pharaohs of Egypt. Here cats were revered as Gods and many were mummified to previous for eternity. Because the pet cats guarded the grain warehouses and killed the rats and mice that fed on the grain. Therefore minimizing famines, which were the curse of Egypt. It had been illegal to destroy cats in those times, like cows in India today.
Then the nine lives of the humble feline who only wanted to help mankind by getting rid of rodents that transported disease took a significant move for the worse during the dark ages. Where witch hunts and burning up at the stake were typical. A person who didn't like cats somehow connected those to witches plus they were burnt at the stake with there owners. That they made that interconnection I'll never know. It began with Pope Gregory IX in the 1232 who considered the common house kitten as diabolical. Then to make issues worse in1484 along emerged the greatest kitty killer of all time, Pope Innocent VIII, who decreed something along the lines of all cats came from hell and really should delivered to the fires of hell by fire. Cats were mercilessly prosecuted and were burnt so they would go back to the fires of hell. It really is amazing any survived because if you were trapped with a kitty you were burnt together. I still go to chapel and sometimes I just wonder why. And undoubtedly the Black Fatality was in the background surviving and growing because there were no felines to destroy the rats that carried the fleas that induced the condition. Then along emerged the cat's savior King Louis XIII of France, who in the 1630s repealed regulations and cats once more began to live. But they were still hated and wiped out for many hundreds of years after that. I have no idea if the Dark Death subsided but cats once again covered mankind resistant to the diseases transported by rodents. Plus the famines due to mice plagues.
