Cats actually bring a few parasites, a few fleas plus some diseases and a few can turn serious however, not many. If pet cats were triggering too much sickness they might not have invaded our lives as well as they have. But there are still people out there who do not like cats. When I first went to China about 20 years ago there were very few pet cats living with people and incredibly few wild felines. I was amazed because I've had cats all my entire life and I never thought people didn't like felines. But in China the individuals said cats carried disease and this was it. I feel that may have something to do with that cat sick and tired you get in your eyesight. Not serious just a slight problem for a week In case you were pregnant you had to keep away from cats. I believe they were discussing toxoplasmosis, but if you get that whenever you are a youngster it should not affect your child. They also said pet cats were filthy but I don't think so. I think felines are one of the cleanest domestic pets you could have. I feel that came from the cats killing the rats and mice. Because rats are incredibly dirty pets then because the cats killed and ate them they'll also be dusty. A dusty by connection kind of thing. Also there have been some big sewer rats jogging round during the day. Once I noticed a rat and a feline face off each other and the kitten wasn't much bigger than the rat. They were about a ft . apart staring each other out and the cat ran away. I'm not astonished the rat's teeth were bigger that the felines.
Cats and mankind have been moving into harmony for many years but that has not always been the truth. There have been times when pet cats have been practically destroyed in the name of God. And what took place the Black Death reigned supreme for considerably longer than it should. So we will get back to the beginnings of recorded history to the time of the pharaohs of Egypt. Here cats were revered as Gods and many were mummified to last for eternity. As the pet cats guarded the grain warehouses and wiped out the rats and mice that fed on the grain. Therefore reducing famines, which were the curse of Egypt. It was illegal to wipe out cats in those days, like cows in India today.
